Kowa Full Frame Primes rehoused by TLS are an unique set of full frame lenses from the 1960s-1970s made for Kowa leaf shutter SLR cameras. Don't get confused with the Kowa Cine Prominar primes.
This glass delivers a beautiful gold and purple flare. It maintains sharpness at the center with a gradual focus fall-off towards the corners. The bokeh is soft, pleasing, and circular at every aperture, courtesy of the 14-blade iris. TLS's talented engineers have enhanced the minimum close focus distance for each focal length. From 19mm to 135mm, these lenses securely cover Arri Alexa LF open gate sensors without any vignetting. These lenses were born to shoot wide open, and they really shine on full frame cameras. With rock-solid TLS cam systems, 110mm fronts, 300-degree focus rotation, and standard 0.8 focus and iris gears, these lenses offer both reliability and versatility.
